We currently have a large wood burning fireplace in our LR/DR that connects to 2 small fireplaces (one in upstairs bedroom & one in kitchen). We are interested in converting the large fireplace & small kitchen fireplace to gas. The large FP is 3 sided. The small is normal shaped halfway up a brick wall by itself (all appliances are across the room & pantry is next to it on a separate wall). We want very simple style; cozy; and, something that will put out heat. We both liked the design (simple & clean) of the Xtrodinaire FPX 36 CF Pier. LR/DR opening is 30.25″ x 23.50″ x 27.75″. The kitchen opening is 21.25″ x 28.25″ x 14.50″. Are inserts possible? Or will I be taken away for sticker shock? Please help. Thanks!
